In Love on Madison Ave.

My last trip to NYC was partially spent in the Madison Ave. Louboutin store. Since I was there for an extraordinary amount of time, I made friends with Jose. He was been conveniently keeping in touch with me on the latest additions to the fall/winter line. *Sigh* Here are a few of the ones he sent that I deem as FABULOUS.

Just broke down

I have been on a shopping strike. Yes, a shopping strike. I just broke down and bought at least two box-fuls of delicious Anthropologie clothes. These new additions to my closet-room will surely make me happy. Now it's time for me to get creative and find a way for new things to fit onto my already packed garment racks. And, yes, I have repeatedly gone through these racks to get rid of things, but never seem to find more than 1 or 2 garments I don't wear. It's that time in my life where all of my items are now classics. (That must mean I'm getting old). So, needless to say, it's extremely difficult to discard anything. I. will. try. again. But for now, I am sitting on the edge of my seat in anticipation of these lovely fall frocks to arrive....

Ps. I love how I just made a purchase and on the "thank you" screen there's a button to "continue shopping". Really? I'm done. Don't try and rope me in again with dreams of that leather bag I still really want. I'm stopping while I'm ahead.

Oh, and 1 more thing before I sign off--I am a tinch bit angry upset that my "anthro" card doesn't get me free shipping over a certain dollar amount (which I clearly hurdled over that one today). I will be sending the lovely folks at Anthropologie a sweet little note to let them know just how I feel. (In an accidentally-on-purpose sort of way)

Here are some of my faves I ordered:

I think this is a couple of years old, but it made me smile.

Louis Vuitton Video

Check out this ethereal, youth-inspiring video...

I had a great time at the Gaga show in Vegas! I wanted to post some of the fashionably Gaga outfits I witnessed at the show. From bows and coke bottle curlers to some pretty imaginative outfits--Enjoy!

PS I'm wearing my Kenneth Cole necklace, a Marie Marie Silk tube top, and my Black Bebe feather mini. (however, don't think you can see my mini very well in any of the pics). Oh, and those fabulous Calvin Harris-inspired glasses aren't mine (but I had to take a pic with them).

Retro Tennies

I have been looking for an new pair of casual shoes to give my Pumas a rest. I am pretty excited about these pairs I found online! They look exactly like what I wanted--retro, but cute. I had a hard time deciding between the 2 colors, but ended up getting the grey because I really liked the hot pink stripe on the sole.

I also found some other fabulous statement pieces on the spree to find this one. Here are some of the ones I thought were notable...

Gaga Dolls

Found these fabulous Barbie transformations! People are turning their Barbies into the many looks of Gaga! Have a fabulous week!

Kors Krazy

Michael Kors is driving me crazy. How many things can a man design that are unbelievably fabulous---apparently a lot. Here are a few items that are on my watch list. I can't imagine how I will ever live without at least one of these...

Zipper Dress

(with the bag I heart so much!)

And one last look...

Gettin' Gaga Ready

I'm packing for a fabulous weekend getaway to Vegas! I can't wait to share with you what I am going to do there---GAGA CONCERT!!!

So, here are a few items of clothing I'm definitely taking with:
1. White pool romper. This is a tissue cotton material. Perfect for outside! (from Vicky Secrets)
2. Paisley or Water color mini skirts. These could easily pair with a tank and sandals for a daytime look. Great for shopping or searching for the best Elvis impersonators. (Paisley is from Zara, Painterly is from
3. FEATHERS. This is somewhat my go-to skirt for Vegas. I don't really have anywhere else I deem it appropriate to wear a mini skirt doused in feathers (except here). So, black mini it is! (Feather skirt is from Bebe)
4. Strapless bubble mini dress. This is the quintessential dress for going out. Not only is it comfy, but it has pockets on seam!! I love the paper maché-esque styling too! (Strapless dress is from Armani Exchange)

No matter how nasty, snooty, or stand-offish she may be, Olivia Palermo has exceptional style. She is able to mix and match pieces and make the look work for her. Check out where she is featured showing her 30 days of looks. Inspirational for re-mixing looks from my own closet.

Gold Rush

I haven't bought a ring since my fabulous mood ring in elementary school. So I recently decided it was time to do some ring shopping. The "brass knuckles" ring is from UrbanOutfitters. The stacked-ringed ring is from Ann Taylor. Two rings with a little bit of glam and edgy-ness all wrapped my fingers!

I just purchased the Ann Taylor scent "Possibilities", and it's very delightful! It's the perfect summer scent!

Suits Me

I have never spent so much time searching for a bathing suit my entire life. I almost got to the point of buying some really cheap ones and mix/matching with my current bathing suits. Then I came to my senses and realized that would be a mistake. Here are my bathing beauty suits I finally chose for this summer. (A lot of time and effort went into this. I feel like I just crossed a finish line). WHEW!!

Polka Dots I will probably mix and match this suit with an army green top or bottom I already have. Or just a plain black top or bottom.

My mix & match choices...I love to mix it up a bit. Don't always like to be so match-y.

Watermelon & Braids. I have plenty of suits to pair with these 2 punchy pieces. Can't wait for them to arrive!

I am officially in love. I recently purchased 2 pairs of Louboutin's at the Madison store in NYC. It was the perfect little boutique with the perfect man (Jose) to help me find my perfect shoes. I have to admit, I was just going in to buy a pair of black patent leather heels, but ended up falling in love twice. My wandering eye was in lover heaven. Here are the two I bought, as well as the one that got away.

My 2 current lovers...

And the one that got away...
